The start:
As so many great ideas may be born in a board room, our story does not follow this mold. It begins between two close friends (and teammates) at happy hour, before playing an adult volleyball league. We had a desire between two athletes looking for something better, something that allowed us to improve our skill set and continue to play competitively with a sense of community.
Our backgrounds vary in experience and sport but our shared passion for a competitive outlet brought us together to form The League Sports.
The League Sports allows athletes to play volleyball at a high level, where quality is more important than quantity, and we value our players first. We established TLS in our pursuit of living active lifestyles, and creating opportunities for various sporting communities to come together. We strive to support a diverse and inclusive environment, give back to local businesses/causes and promote the overall growth of volleyball in Northern California.
